Wasting U.S. Taxpayer Money and Soldiers’ Lives: Gov. Healey Deflects as Harris Misleads on Military Combat Presence

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey deflected when asked about Vice President Kamala Harris's misleading debate statement, where Harris falsely claimed no U.S. military members are in active combat zones. When pressed about Harris’s inaccurate comment, Healey shifted focus to criticizing Donald Trump, evading the critical issue: thousands of U.S. soldiers remain deployed in dangerous zones like Iraq and Syria.

With 900 U.S. troops in Syria and 2,500 in Iraq, risking their lives daily, this reflects how the U.S. government misuses taxpayer money and shows little regard for soldiers’ sacrifices. While political leaders like Harris make dismissive statements, America continues to invest in endless conflicts, costing lives and resources, with no real accountability.
